Robert Rauschenberg, Read-Bleed
"I don't ever want to go," he told Harper's when asked about dying.
"I don't have a sense of great reality about the next world; my feet
are too ugly to wear those golden slippers. But I'm working on my
fear of it. And my fear is that something interesting will happen,
and I'll miss it."
thank you mr. rauschenberg for coloring the world.

Truly a genius artist has left us, but what beautiful works he left behind. Thank you for this post, it's a chilling and lovely quote.
I just read about this in today's paper. I didn't realize he had died. I'm truly inspired by his work. I will have to look at his book again.
what a legacy of color he leaves.
